What you need

• An up-to-date copy of Neo Bowling. Score codes from older versions are turned away when you scan.
• An account on this site, signed in. New accounts are approved by the site admin. Scores you submit while waiting still count, and appear on the board once you’re approved.
• Your own cart, and a phone to scan with.

How to enter

1. Bowl a 1-player game. 2-player and VS Link games can’t be submitted.
2. At GAME OVER pick SUBMIT SCORE, set your initials, press OPTION to show the QR code, and scan it.
3. Submit it here before the event ends. You’ll see “Counted in” with the event’s name.

The QR code only exists on that GAME OVER screen. Once you pick PLAY AGAIN or TITLE, that game can’t be submitted.

Bowl as many games as you like

• Only your best game during the event counts, so a bad game never hurts you.
• A higher score replaces your entry. A lower one changes nothing.
• If two of your games have the same score, the one with the longer strike streak counts, then the one with more strikes, then the earlier one.
• Games during the event never change your handicap.
• Every game you submit also goes on the all-time board.

Scoring

• Ranked by handicap: Total = best game + handicap. Switch to Scratch to rank by score alone.
• Handicap = 90% of (200 − your average), rounded down, max 90. A 150 average gets +45. A 200 average or better gets no handicap.
• Your cart keeps your average from every finished 1-player game, submitted or not. Anyone bowling on your cart changes it.
• Your handicap is locked in from the last score you submitted before the event starts. Tip: submit a game before the start.
• No score before the start, or your cart had fewer than 5 games then? Your first score in the event from a cart with 5+ games sets your handicap, for all your event games. Games bowled at home count toward the 5. Until then you bowl scratch.
• TOURNEY HCP on the cart’s CAREER STATS screen (from HISCORES on the title) uses the same formula, but it shows today’s value.
• Ties between players go to the longest strike streak in their best game, then most strikes, then whoever submitted first.

Good to know

• What counts is when you submit, not when you bowled. Start and end times are shown in your own time zone.
• Every score is checked: the code must be valid, and every ball is replayed to make sure the game is possible.
• One entry per account.
• Updating the game wipes the cart’s save. Before you update, write down your STATS CODE (OPTIONS > STATS CODE). Enter it on the new version with A: ENTER A CODE, or your average starts over.
